A New Year mesage from Master Wood

Exciting developments ahead in 2016.................

The growth and development of Sooyang Do during the past year means that 2015 will be a hard act to follow, but further exciting developments and the continued enthusiasm of our team of instructors and volunteers is such that, not only do we aim to improve on last year, but that we are already, even this early in 2016, working on projects which will take our unique martial art to a new level, with an announcement to be made in the near future.

On a more technical level, the continuing advances in various areas of sports science and medical knowledge of the pros and cons of contact sports, as well as the increasing need to ensure that we, as a society, embrace mutual respect, reinforces our belief that the prioritisation of health and fitness for life and the time honoured principles reflected in our tenets, on which Sooyang Do was founded, will continue to attract those wishing to embrace martial arts training as something more than a need to simply indulge in prize - fighting.

I would like to wish everyone involved in Sooyang Do the very best for 2016 and look forward to witnessing the continued progression of all students who filled their instructors and myself with such pride at the recent belt examinations.
